The AMERICAS region has 2 sites (one in the USA and one in Mexico) and +300 employees.
Today, our Fremont facility (California, USA) is looking for a GL Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close processes
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports and financial statements.
- Prepare and perform general ledger journals, monthly account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and perform the monthly consolidation of the financial statements, close activities relating to intercompany transactions and reconciliation
- Participation in monthly internal financial statements reviews.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations accounting policies, and procedures.
- Support external and internal audit requirements, work with external CPA for tax preparation
Education/qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Experience (years & fields)
- 4-6 years experience in a relevant accounting position
Skills/competencies
Technical:
- Experience with Hyperion, QAD, but not required
- MS office excel, word, PowerPoint
- Project management
