Today, our Bedford facility (UK) is looking for a Finance Leader/Analyst.
MISSIONS
To assist in providing support in all aspects of financial control.
Responsibilities
- Supplier invoice entries onto QAD and other Payables functions on an ad-hoc basis
- Daily Banking entries onto Daybook and Petty cash balance maintenance
- Weekly run of AR aging, liaise with Program managers for chasing clients and assist them in statement requests.
- Assist in Month-end reconciliations of General Ledger and preparation of monthly management accounting reports
- VAT returns preparation
- Assist Financial Controller in Preparing Forecasts and Budgets
- Journal posting when needed
- Assist HR in payroll using SAGE Payroll software
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by the FC
Requirements / Job Profile
- Minimum AAT Level 3 or equivalent
- Desirable or working towards AAT level 4 or ACCA Applied Knowledge or equivalent
- 2 years experience in an accounting role.
- Desirable if worked within a manufacturing environment, but not essential
